IISc–ICTS Workshop Illuminates the Dynamics of RNA Functions

The ICTS–IISc Workshop on “Dynamics and Evolution of RNA Functions (DERF 2025)” brought together leading scientists and young researchers to explore the dynamic world of RNA biology — spanning translation, regulation, and RNA–protein condensates.
Dr. Purusharth I. Rajyaguru, Dr. Sandeep Eswarappa, Dr. Tanweer Hussain, and Dr. Umesh Varshney from the Department of Biochemistry, IISc, played a pivotal role in organising the workshop and hosting participants, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of scientific exchange and collaboration. Held at ICTS Bengaluru (22 Sept – 3 Oct 2025), the workshop featured engaging lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions that deepened understanding of RNA’s ever-evolving roles in cellular physiology.
